During the past 15 years, HUG Internationally has worked in several orphanages and hospitals all across the globe. Caregivers and nurses have been educated in proper care of the children, as well as being trained to hug, rock, hold, play with, and sing and talk to the babies. This will ensure that the children will have a more normal start to their lives. | |||
HUG not only assists in providing for the health and well-being of the children, we also address the problems of housing these babies, including repairs and renovation of buildings, group homes, and day grounds where neighborhood children converse to play and "practice up" on their skills. Athletes come to us to play"football" (that's soccer to us Westerners), basketball, or any other game involving running, laughing, and "high fives" upon victory. |
