At one month of age he was taken to the Alexandria, Romania, orphanage after being found in a dumpster. 1/2 pounds. We insisted that his caregivers give him ever ounce of nurturing it was in their power to give. Today Peanut is a healthy, beautiful, 16 year old. Blessed with loving care, he is also one of the privileged youngsters living in a 'foster home' (a small group residence outside the orphanage) and attends public school. An engaging and personable child, Peanut loves anything mathematical and mechanical, and will gladly sing the sons he's learning in school for an audience. Peanut represents just one of the many children that HUG has helped.
