Service Teams
We need people with big hearts, ages 15-88, male or female, who love children and wish to make a difference in the lives of the world's neediest children. We are especially looking for medical professionals (doctors, nurses, dentists, dental hygienists, psychologists, occupational therapists, ect.) to provide educational and medical training to doctors and nurses in orphanages and hospitals as well as hands on work wi ht the children (surgery, dental work,e ct.). Additionally, we need educators of all kinds and able bodied persons. Many come with expirience in teaching, health care, ppsycologists, adn therapy. These groups of people will travel three to four times a year on service teams to Romania as well as other needing countries. We provide:

Physical and emotional nurturing to children in need wherever they are
Medical and educational training to staff.
Humanitarian aid including toys, clothes, shoes, housewares, furniture, medicine, medical equiptment, and school supplies
HUG's team members serve as examples to the staff and caregivers about the importance of continued touch and the nurturing of these precious children.

Help raise funds or make donations
Work at fundraising events such as garage sales, golf tournaments, selling holiday cards, etc.

Collect items for "HUG boxes" for local area women's shelters. These packages can contain such things as: toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs, brushes, make-up and hygiene products for women. Boxes for children can contain small books, crayons, toys, small stuffed animals. Boxes can be any container to hold the items, such as a shoe box or plastic bag which can be secured.

Be trained and speak on behalf of HUG. Literature will be provided.

Make baby bibs or blankets to send to orphanages.

Sponsor a child at $20 a month and help meet the needs of a child.

Sponsor a grandmother's love at $25 to $75 a month to assure they recognize how important and loved they are.

Distribute Blessings Calendar to your school, company or organization, church or synagogue.

Ask your organization to make HUG Internationally a recipient of its fund-raising activities.

Donate 1% of your monthly earning to HUG. If you don't regularly tithe, consider tithing to HUG. Receive the blessings that come with tithing.
